Sure, you have a lot of
choices when it comes to morning radio in
the Triangle...but where else are you going
to find
a show that is all about your local
sports?
If you
fell asleep before the
game ended, don't be the loser at the
office.
Catch 'The
Feed' at the top of each hour for an
extended sportscast. And 'Rewind'
delivers the best in post game sound from
yesterdays big games. You can be up to speed with local
expert insight before you hit the water
cooler - and all it takes in tuning in to
The Morning MoJo.
The Sports Pig
Morgan Patrick is a Triangle sports radio
veteran, serving 7 years at 620's sister
station 850 the Buzz. Morgan's sports
education started right down the road at
UNC, where he graduated with a BA in
Broadcast Journalism. He has tracked through
Myrtle Beach, WCHL and the Tar Heel Sports
Network during his broadcast career. And
now, he wakes up early each morning to
deliver the best morning sports coverage to
Triangle listeners.
Joe Ovies also
travels to 620 the Bull by route of sister
station 850 the Buzz. The "Latino Heat"
joined 850 shortly after his graduation from
NC State, where he served as General Manager
of WKNC. Joe brings more than sports to the
MoJo, he also offers up his love of pop
culture with the 'Must List'
and technology in the '411' to keep listeners on the
cutting edge. And, the
webmaster likes him because he's
a cat person.
The
Bad-Assador of Triangle Radio, Tony Riggsbee,
serves as the brains behind the operation.
You can catch his news and sports reports
throughout the show to keep you up to date
on the world. Tony comes to 620 by way of
620 - meaning when the crew at 850 the Buzz
took over operations of 620 - we negotiated
the capture of this veteran of radio, you
know, to build street-cred.
